In a celebrated high profile auction, organized by the celebrated auctioneering house Sotheby’s, a Ferrari, driven by legendary Argentine- Juan Manuel Fangio- went for a whopping $22 million dollars....

The 28-year-old, supported by Venezuelan oil and gas giant PDVSA, said he began to talk with Lotus since the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix, reported Xinhua. He admitted that he wants some change to improve his F1 career. “Lotus offered the very best opportunity for me to be competitive next season. It is a very good time for a fresh start,” he said. The Venezuelan would bring 35 million Euros’ annual sponsorship from PDVSA to Lotus which is financially struggling and failed to pay Finn Kimi Raikkonen part of his salary this season....

Facebook Makes Misinformation Less Attractive Facebook is making it even harder to encounter and share misinformation on the platform. In a post on the About Facebook blog, Facebook announced that it’s launching a new penalty for users who repeatedly share misinformation. Facebook already lessens a post’s reach if it contains misinformation, but the platform wants to take this a step further. If a user has shared misinformation several times in the past, Facebook plans to “reduce the distribution of all posts in News Feed from an individual’s Facebook account....

But on occasion, the mites can multiply exponentially, resulting in an infestation that can manifest with red, irritated eyes and itchy, crusty eyelids, known as demodicosis. When a mite infestation is diagnosed, it can be treated with over-the-counter or prescription medications in combination with good hygiene. BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2 was originally released in Japan for the Satellaview in August 1997, but was only playable for 2 non-consecutive weeks providing one had the modem add-on for the Super Famicom to access it. Scuderia Ferrari’s boss Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed in Singapore that the youngster Charles Leclerc’s contract has been signed for a period of four years. The 20-year-old Monegasque, Ferrari’s youngest driver in its history since 19-year-old Ricardo Rodriguez, who was offered a guest-drive at the Italian Grand Prix in 1961. After the rumors that Ferrari was set to extend Kimi Raikkonen’s contract, Leclerc’s deal - initially signed off by Sergio Marchionne before his untimely death- was finally confirmed earlier this week, the Finn will swap seats with Monegasque for the 2019 season....

It was not quite a perfect race for Championship leader Lewis Hamilton as he lost a place to nearest rival Sebastian Vettel in the pit stops. However, this proved to be a minor blip as Hamilton recovered and steered ahead of Vettel’s Ferrari. Hamilton’s team-mate, Finn Valtteri Bottas, who won his maiden Grand Prix victory at Sochi last year, was given a bitter pill to swallow as his team issued orders to let Hamilton through to take the lead....

The Ferrari driver, who had earlier led the race, was running second as he battled Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton on lap 38, but spun after being overtaken by the world champion and lost his front wing moments later. He dropped down to ninth and eventually scrambled back to finish in fifth place behind race winner Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, team-mate Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. The spin followed similar incidents for the four-time champion in Italy, Japan and the United States last season, and he conceded it was an error on his part....

The sprints are set to be hosted in Azerbaijan (Baku City Circuit), Austria (Red Bull Ring), Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps), Qatar (Lusail Circuit), the United States (Circuit of The Americas) and Sao Paulo (Interlagos). The Red Bull Ring in Austria held its first sprint in July this year and will return for a second in 2023. Imola, in Emilia-Romagna in Italy, has been excluded after hosting its debut sprint in April, while Qatar returns to the calendar after taking a year off due to the World Cup....

The Dutchman yet again proved unstoppable in a season that has seen him walk to the title, his second in successive years. Red Bull had already claimed the constructors’ title but Ferrari were looking to hold off Mercedes for P2 in the race, a feat the famous Italian team managed to complete thanks to Charles Leclerc’s P2 finish. That second spot also meant that Leclerc finished P2 in the drivers’ world championship, ahead of Sergio Perez who pushed the Monegasque all the way to the finish line....

Leclerc had been the dominant force at Circuit Paul Ricard, qualifying first and keeping Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton at bay from the start on Sunday. Yet the Monegasque driver’s mistake on lap 18 saw him lose the back end and crash into the tyre wall, allowing Verstappen to assume a lead that was never under threat from the chasing pack. A late error following a virtual safety car from Sergio Perez allowed George Russell to sneak third place behind Hamilton, making it a weekend to celebrate for Mercedes....

Race organizers for the event, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC), have created a new Redline suite, which in their words: The suite is said to be located on turn 4 of the Albert Park Circuit. It promises to be a perfect vantage point to watch the new cars in action on what is expected to be a much faster track. With Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes having clinched those respective honours, there are scores to be settled elsewhere on the grid as the final standings take shape. Hamilton’s team-mate Valtteri Bottas could yet overtake Sebastian Vettel into second, with the Finn facing a 22-point deficit to the Ferrari driver. An eighth-place finish would be enough for Vettel to cement his place. Daniel Ricciardo (200 points) and Kimi Raikkonen (193) will fight it out for fourth and fifth, while the battle for supremacy within Force India – which has become heated on occasion this season – is going down to the wire....
