Although Fable Legends was cancelled, Microsoft has given permission for the new Flaming Fowl Studios, founded by former members of Lionhead Studios, to continue work on Fable Fortune. Since it is lacking a publisher, Flaming Fowl Studios are bringing the game to Kickstarter, starting Tuesday, May 31st. Since the game has been in development for over a year already, Flaming Fowl plans to have a beta available to backers shortly after the conclusion of the campaign....
According to a new report, those with their fingers crossed regarding Fable Legends’ future were right to be hopeful. MCV has spoken to three sources at Lionhead Studios that claim that although there are currently “no offers” for either Lionhead Studios or Fable Legends, the ex-Lionhead Studios staff are being “surveyed” about whether they would like to keep working on the game or whether they will accept the redundancy package instead and leave their positions at the end of April....
After the end of the first Fable game, players can seek out a powerful sword called Avo’s Tear. To obtain it, the protagonist has to face judgment at the hands of three deceased members of the Heroes’ Guild: Solcius, Delfe, and Holdr.
