A game like Super Mario Odyssey is almost nothing like Super Mario 3D World, for example. However, Splatoon though Splatoon 3 certainly appear to be true sequels, so Nintendo does go that route from time to time. F-Zero could return by giving players more of the same, but it could also innovate and bring something new to the table....

The championship battle is warming up, with the top two contenders, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, separated by eight points. Meanwhile, the constructor’s title is also continuously getting swapped between Ferrari and Mercedes, as the red team currently hold fort 20 points ahead of the Silver Arrows. The race wins have been almost equally distributed between the top three teams, with Mercedes and Red Bull Racing scoring three apiece and the Prancing Horse notching up four....
There is little to chose between the top teams right now in terms of performance. We are in one of the closest F1 seasons, with Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes tied neck and neck in the front of the field, while the midfield teams are covered by little under a second. Starting P3 on the grid, the British driver had the pace to get past Max Verstappen to lead the race halfway through, a position he held onto with ease for the remainder of the event. He had tried and failed to pass the two-time world champion on a number of occasions to no avail but picked his line onto the back straight perfectly to get past the Red Bull with the advantage of his quicker soft tyres compared to Verstappen’s mediums....
The historic Zandvoort circuit has secured a three-year deal to stage the race, which will take place on the weekend of May 8-10 next year. Max Verstappen featured prominently in a video tweeted by Formula One to announce the award of the race and FIA president Jean Todt suggested the popularity of Red Bull’s Dutch star was a factor in the decision. “It is a circuit with a long and impressive history of competition and is a great challenge for drivers,” he said....

New Delhi, Feb 6 (PTI) Ace Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar will be competing in back-to-back World Cups next month to enhance her chances of qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Dipa had claimed a bronze at the vault event of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cottbus, Germany in November, last year, to make a strong bid for her Olympic qualification. It was Dipa’s first appearance after recovering from a knee strain which spoilt her Jakarta Asian Games, where she missed the vault final and also had to pull out of the team event due to a knee strain....
